Kenya AA Kirinyaga Single Origin

$ 25.00 AUD

After harvesting only the ripest cherries between October and January, the coffee is wet processed in a central pulpery owned by the village society. Immediately after the cherries are delivered, they are hand orted, pulped and fermented. After the fermentation process, the coffee is washed, graded and spread onto raised beds for sun drying, also known as African beds. During the drying period all defective beans are removed by hand. Once they are fully dried, the beans appear as a typical Bourbon – round beans with a bluish green color. This coffee from Karani features a cup with a velvet body, pleasant acidity and savory aroma.
